Functional Art Piece: a.e.n. console
The latest functional art piece! The a.e.n. (anomalous experimental noise) console is built in a huge, vintage audiometer. It features three metal urchins that function like kalimbas, each with a different tonal range due to their size. The urchins are mounted to a piezo plate where signal is boosted and then inserted into my memory fault circuit! Create noise and soundscapes with the urchins (combining them with noise, delay, and distortion) and generate sound oscillations and drone with the memory fault controls as well! AND you are not limited to the urchins, there is a summing mixer on the rear of the unit so that you can add another signal source into the mix too!
Functional art pieces are priced like art. The prices reflect the time, cost and design needed to craft one-off pieces.
