MEMORY//F∆ULT: born from attempts to make an exceedingly dirty delay, this unit behaves less like a standard delay and more like a hazy blur of recollection that trails your playing.

With an envelope-controlled modulation engine that twists delay time as you play — ringing notes drift subtly, while staccato playing can make it sound like the delay is misremembering what it was supposed to play while it fades out. And with two independent feedback paths you can not only shape the feel of repeats but, used together can also create self-generating drones and system noise. Speaking of noise, the unit also features a noise circuit — triggered by your playing and technically operating in parallel, but it fuses so completely that it becomes a textural distortion, blending grit into your signal and adding subtle background static.

This interactive unit has three outputs that can be mixed:

> source: the original, uncorrupted data feed (i.e., dry mix)

>trace: the system’s attempt to recall the past (i.e., wet mix)

>corrupt: a noise and signal distortion (i.e., noise mix)

Additional wet parameters include:

> //MEMORY_DRIFT: time displacement of memory (i.e., delay time)

> //RECLL (recall): recursive memory access (i.e., repeats)

> //LOOP: memory feeding back into itself (i.e., feedback loop)

> //WARP: distorted temporal data (i.e., envelope-controlled modulation)

RECLL noise - injects noise straight into the delay line. Makes filth repeats and can get the drone to create truly gnarly signal decay that can be morphed with the warp control.
